As a cybersecurity industry leader and successful entrepreneur, Lawrence is the managing director of AbriteLogic Solutions LLC, a rapidly growing company that specializes in cybersecurity strategy and compliance. Lawrence is a passionate cybersecurity SME with career-focused skills developed through practical and theoretical competencies in IT Compliance, Higher Ed, and Security Research. In other words, he brings a wealth of expertise gleaned from over a decade of work with a combination of teaching, research, and industry experiences. As a scholar-practitioner, Lawrence has vast experience spanning cybersecurity assessment, IT audit, networking, and electrical engineering domains of practice.  Additionally, Lawrence is proud to be part of the CMMC Ecosystem and dedicated to conducting CMMC assessments for the DoD DIB contractors, together with assisting with select implementation of CMMC practices and compliance requirements through affiliation with C3PAO/RPO organizations.

Furthermore, Lawrence has years of experience in executive management in cybersecurity consulting services serving as a vCISO in a number of industries, including healthcare, education, banking and finance, insurance, and fintech. As a vCISO, Lawrence provides strategic guidance to executive teams, as well as helps clients understand and manage their cybersecurity risks and threats. Providing strategic guidance and expertise helps clients build and manage their security strategy and compliance programs. Finally, he has been intimately involved in building, re-vamping, and/or managing cybersecurity programs for several clients. He is a skilled communicator, capable of helping key stakeholders make the best cybersecurity decisions for their organization.
